Gavin Pollock, Internal Account Manager

Gavin Pollock - Internal Account Manager
Hi, my name is Gavin and I've recently joined the sales team at Reynolds and Reynolds.

Due to the nature of the job, your respective account manager may not always be available: whether it be they’re on the road, at a training day or on holiday! If this is the case, please don’t hesitate to give me a call and I’ll do my very best to help. I’m office based so available at the other end of a phone.

A little more about me...
I'm Glasgow born, Birmingham based and love to travel, recently venturing to Budapest, Amsterdam and Tenerife. Suffice to say it was a crazy experience.

I have worked in the motor trade nearing on two years, where I was responsible for service calls on behalf of dealerships, as well as lead generation for Iveco and Volvo.

If you need anything at all, please don’t hesitate to contact me on 0121 483 2031 or e-mail gavin_pollock@reyrey.com. I’m happy to assist with any queries you may have.

We asked Gavin some questions...
  1. Welcome to the Reynolds & Reynolds team. How long have you worked in the motor trade industry and how are you finding your first week?
Thanks! I’ve been in the motor trade for nearing on two years. I’m thoroughly enjoying my first week. I’ve got a great team and a lot of exciting prospects ahead of me. Although, I’m looking forward to having the training behind me and being able to crack on with my job.

  2. I hear you've just come back from travelling, tell us a little about it?
I spent time in Budapest, Amsterdam & working in Tenerife. Without wanting to sound cliché, it was an incredible experience, I met a lot of amazing people and made some unforgettable memories. Apart from sun stroke, that was awful.

  3. What is your favourite place to visit and why?
After this summer, I'm quite inclined to say Budapest - very cheap, extremely cultural, whilst having a great nightlife. Can't ask for much more.

  4. If you could meet anyone in the world, dead or alive, who would it be and why?
I'd enjoy to sit down and chat with Elon Musk. Purely because he's very forward thinking and a very interesting man.

  5. What's your favourite line from a film?
"How d'you like them apples?" - Will, Good Will Hunting.

  6. And finally, the quick fire round!
    Two wheels or four? Four
    Footbal or rugby? Football
    Roast or curry? Curry
    Beer or Lager? Lager
