Hi, I'm Jack and I recently joined Reynolds and Reynolds as an Account Manager.
A little more about me...
I grew up in Sutton Coldfield and I still live there now with my wife.
I am a very keen sportsman, having played football, cricket, golf, squash and running competitively as a youth. Nowadays, I focus my efforts predominantly on playing cricket during the summer months and throughout the winter I run frequently and try to run a marathon a year.
I enjoy comedy and my favourite comedian is Ricky Gervais (I can pretty much quote the whole of The Office).
Welcome to Reynolds! How have you found your first couple of months?
The first few months have been really interesting, and learning about our core products has been really eye-opening. Having had no experience of the automotive industry before, it genuinely is unbelievable how much depth there is to technology within dealerships.
What did you do before joining the sales team?
Prior to working here, I worked in the event industry after graduating from university, starting in sales, then project and account management before returning back to a business development role. Sales has always appealed to me as I'm a very competitive person and I have always wanted to do better.
If money was no barrier, what car would you like to own?
If money wasn’t an issue – I wouldn’t want a car, I’d only need a helicopter to take me to my superyacht!
What do you like to do in your spare time?
Most of my time is spent either playing Cricket, running, in the gym or in the pub!
Do you have a favourite holiday destination that you like to go to?
I love travelling and have been lucky enough to visit some amazing places… My favourite place so far, is a toss up between Barbados or anywhere in Australia. I'm also planning a trip with my wife to New York then onto Jamaica for a few days in the sun afterwards.
What was the last film you watched?
The last film I watched was Rocky V – incidently it includes a great quote “it ain’t about how hard you can hit, it’s about how hard you can get hit, and keep moving forward, that’s how winning is done”.
Living in a world of gadgets, what is the one thing you couldn't live without?
Like 99.9% of the population I would have to say I couldn’t live without my iPhone.
If you could walk in someone’s shoes for a day, who would it be and why?
Cristiano Ronaldo – it would be amazing to just experience what his life is like.
